Moomin Ice Cave, located in the underground cave of Sport & Spa Hotel Vesileppis, is one of the most interesting places to visit in Savo. New ice sculpture exhibition opens on December 25, 2025.
In autumn, the ice sculpture exhibition shares the space with the cross-country skiing arena.
Vesileppis is less than an hour’s drive from Kuopio, and in addition to the cave, there are also other activities for the whole family. The temperature of the cave is -4 degrees celsius, so remember to take warm clothes with you. The entrance ticket is valid all day, so you can also visit the spa or a restaurant during the day.
