Kuopion Palloseura

Kuopion Palloseura, or KuPS, is a football club founded in 1923. KuPS has established itself in the Veikkausliiga, where the club has continuously played since 2008. Home matches are held at Väre Areena, located near the city center of Kuopio.

The women’s representative team of KuPS was established in 2018 and competes in the Kansallinen Liiga, which is the highest level of women’s football in Finland. In 2023, the team clinched the Finnish championship for the third consecutive time and also secured victory in the women’s Finnish Cup.
